Pakistan National Cricket Team’s ODI captain and wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan accidentally broke Naseem Shah’s mobile phone during a practice session ahead of their three-match ODI series against the New Zealand National Cricket Team.
During the practice session, Mohammad Rizwan, who was batting against a right-arm pacer, played a slog over the on-side, sending the ball flying, but unfortunately, it struck Naseem Shah’s phone, which had been kept outside the dressing room.

However, later an unexpected incident unfolded when Pakistan’s ODI squad was leaving for New Zealand. Actually, a video is going viral on social media, where Naseem can be heard saying that his captain broke his mobile phone when fans inquired about the same at the airport, and Rizwan instantly gave the fast bowler his own phone.

Mohammad Rizwan set for ODI action against New Zealand
Notably, Mohammad Rizwan, alongside Babar Azam, was dropped from the T20I squad, but they have been named in the ODI squad for the upcoming three-match ODI series in Pakistan. The first ODI between New Zealand and Pakistan will be played on March 29 at McLean Park in Napier.
The second ODI will be held on April 2 at the Seddon Park in Hamilton on April 2, while the third and final ODI will be played at the Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui on April 5. However, their current goal is to win the fourth T20I against the Black Caps on March 23 at Bay Oval, Mount Maunganui, to level the ongoing T20I series after their record nine-wicket win in the third game.
