Virat Kohli suffers severe hand injury during RCB vs GT clash, writhes in pain

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) have faced a massive blow in the ongoing game against Gujarat Titans (GT) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. Premier batter Virat Kohli got injured during the second innings of the game, which is taking place at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Wednesday (2nd April).

The incident happened on the 5th ball of the 12th over when Krunal Pandya was bowling to Sai Sudharsan. The left-arm spinner bowled a quicker delivery around off, to which the batter swept hard and straight to deep mid-wicket.

Virat Kohli, who was stationed there, didn’t judge it well as the ball bounced in front of him and skidded across. It went on to hit his fingers before reaching the fence. He looked in immense pain as he was down on his knees, clutching his right hand.
