RCB vs GT, Match 14 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 took place at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Wednesday (2nd April). Gujarat Titans registered their second consecutive win of the tournament as they beat Royal Challengers Bengaluru by eight wickets.
Asked to bat, Royal Challengers Bengaluru had a horrible start to their innings as they lost four wickets quickly. Virat Kohli (7) was the first wicket to fall and after that, Devdutt Padikkal (4), Phil Salt (14), and skipper Rajat Patidar (12) were back in the hut too as Royal Challengers Bengaluru were left reeling at 42 for four.
With the team under pressure, Liam Livingstone (54) held the one end and slammed a brilliant fifty. Jitesh Sharma (33) supported him well as the duo added 52 runs for the fifth wicket.
In the end, Tim David (32) finished the innings on high as Royal Challengers Bengaluru posted a total of 169 for eight. For Gujarat Titans, Sai Kishore was the pick of the bowlers as he picked two wickets.
Chasing the target, Gujarat Titans had a decent 42-run opening stand between Sai Sudharsan (49) and skipper Shubman Gill (14). After the captain fell in the fifth over, Jos Buttler (73*) took charge and put Bengaluru bowlers under massive pressure.
He along with Sudharsan added 75 runs for the second wicket as Gujarat put one step past the finishing line. Jos Buttler slammed a brilliant half-century while Sherfane Rutherford (30*) acted as a great support as Gujarat Titans chased the target with eight wickets in hand.

After RCB vs GT, Match 14, Punjab Kings are Delhi Capitals bagged the top two spots in the Points Table. Royal Challengers Bengaluru dropped two spots to three while Gujarat Titans moved to 4th. The rest of the table remained the same.
