India Masters Win First IMLT20 Title, Beat West Indies by Six Wickets: The Sachin Tendulkar led India Masters have won the inaugural International Masters League (IML) 2025 title by defeating West Indies Masters by six wickets on Sunday.
India put on a strong performance in front of nearly 50,000 fans at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium, Raipur.

Lendl Simmons was their top scorer with 57 off 41 balls, hitting five fours and a six. Dwayne Smith (45) gave them a quick start, but India’s bowlers pulled things back. Vinay Kumar was the standout, taking 3/26. Shahbaz Nadeem (2/25) and Pawan Negi (1/24) kept the pressure on, preventing a bigger total.

Chasing 149, India Masters started well. Tendulkar (25) and Ambati Rayudu (74) built a solid 67-run partnership. While Tendulkar played with elegance, Rayudu was aggressive, smashing nine fours and three sixes in his 50-ball knock. He reached his half-century in 34 balls but fell to Sulieman Benn soon after.
Yusuf Pathan got out quickly on a duck, but India remained in control. With just 17 runs needed from 28 balls, Stuart Binny (16*) finished the match in style with two big sixes. West Indies spinners tried to fight back, but India secured an easy and seamless win by six wickets.
