Hardik Pandya mocks Shubman Gill with wry smile and intense glare after dismissing him

Mumbai Indians skipper Hardik Pandya has looked decent with the ball in the ongoing game against Gujarat Titans in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. The match between the two teams is taking place at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Opting to bat, Gujarat Titans were off to a flying start with the bat as skipper Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan looked brilliant with the bat. The duo added 78 runs for the opening partnership and put Mumbai Indians bowlers under pressure.

Skipper Shubman Gill, in particular, looked in good touch as he played some crisp shots and slammed bowlers all over the park. With the way they were going, it looked like the Mumbai Indians would struggle to get wicket anytime soon.

But skipper Hardik Pandya led from the front as he removed his Gujarat Titans counterpart. The all-rounder bowled a short ball, to which Shubman Gill played the pull shot but he hit it straight to deep square leg. The ball went fast and flat and was grabbed by Naman Dhir in the deep.

What caught the attention of many was the reaction of Hardik Pandya after he removed Shubman Gill. The Mumbai Indians skipper came up with an ice-cold celebration as he kept staring at the Gujarat Titans skipper as he walked back.
